We strongly believe that growth and sustainability go hand-in-hand, and sustainability is at the centre of everything we do at Celltech. Global and local demands for reduced emissions and increased sustainability have made sustainable products and solutions a competitive advantage in our industry. We design and manufacture sustainable battery products that support our customers to build equipment, vehicles and operations while increasing our customer’s business value and lowering the impact of climate change.
Celltech is also fully committed to positively impacting people who work at Celltech and our suppliers and partners worldwide. Our environmental work is conducted within the framework of our business concept and is to be integrated well into all our decisions. By developing more sustainable products and solutions, enabling our customers to reduce their impact on the climate and the environment, we generate value for our customers and society.
We generally strive to minimise waste, prevent emissions, and take environmental performance into account in all our operations. As a minimum requirement, we always comply with local laws and regulations. Assuming responsibility that extends beyond our operations is also important to us. In our Code of Conduct, we, therefore, require that our suppliers protect the environment in their production. We regularly review their efforts to promote sustainable development. These assessments provide an overview of how our suppliers work with environmental issues and allow us to perceive opportunities to implement shared improvements where feasible.
We take pride that our employees stay with the company for a long time. We want to maintain long-term relationships with our employees and offer secure forms of employment, a favourable work environment and individual development opportunities. Continuous skills development is essential for us, and we provide tailored training through our business school, that is available to all employees.
All employees should be given equal development opportunities, regardless of gender, age, ethnic origin, religion, political views, sexual orientation, disability, or other distinguishing characteristics. We also defend human rights and require that from all our partners and suppliers. As a minimum, all partners and suppliers must comply with the minimum requirements under national legislation regarding labour law. We apply zero tolerance regarding forced labour and work actively to prevent regulatory violations within our operations or value chain.
We embody superior business ethics, apply zero-tolerance for corruption, and work actively to counteract bribery and unfair practices that restrict competition. You can read more in our Code of Conduct.
Celltech strives to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics. We value the safety and respect of everyone affected by our business. Because of this, we offer a Whistleblower service that anyone can use to report irregularities that go against our values and Code of Conduct. To ensure anonymity for the whistleblower function, we use an external partner, Whistle B.
